Miss Muslim Features Anushay’s Point

So much of my writing and work focuses on elevating the voices of women and girls of color, so it was great to be on the other side of things when Miss Muslim interviewed me for their website.

The platform is “where all of the patriarchy’s worst nightmares come to life,” and their mission is to “lead the charge with conversations about love, sex, fashion, politics.”

The interview was one of the first times I have spoken candidly about my family, the legacy of my grandfather, and working in the cutthroat world of online media.
