The way the world & I viewed Bangladesh changed forever Friday night when an upscale restaurant in the center of Dhaka city, owned by friends, came under attack, culminating in a tense twelve hour standoff which left 20 hostages, many of the foreigners, dead.
As my family and friends mourn community members, family members, colleagues, friends and relatives, I did my best to convey to viewers in America why the #DhakaAttacks matter and why they should care.
In the midst of the terror and horror of the news coming from home, I made my network debuts on MSNBC and CBS, in addition to CNN. But sadly due to breaking news throughout the night on Bangladesh, sadly only have the CBSN links for you.
