The world mourns what happened in Paris last week, but most Muslims around the world immediately had to go into defense-mode as both backlash and rhetoric against us intensified in the aftermath of the devastating attacks in France.
American political candidates are not helping the situation by exploiting the Paris attacks for their own political gain, raising suspicion about Syrian refugees and encouraging databases for Muslims in America.
